Dave Sole

Established in 2002, Mad About Drums  is owned and managed by Dave Sole. Dave has many years experience of playing in a huge range of different musical projects.
Currently playing with funk band Groove Cartell and local rock stalwart Mick Davison in Frankly My Dear.
Dave teaches drums at Thomas Deacon Academy as well as providing private tuition and has established a database of local teachers available to offer private tuition to prospective students. This along with a wealth of educational products available, ensures that aspiring drummers both young and old, get all the help, advice and materials required to enjoy their playing and progress as they desire.
Aside from teaching and playing drums, Dave is also a keen renovator and drum technician. Whether creating and building add-ons and accessories or giving a new lease of life to a tired un-loved old kit, many hours are given over to getting 'hands-on' with the instrument, ensuring students and customers alike get the benefit of a wealth of experience with all kinds of remedies to just about any drum related issue.
